Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy — Restock Pulse (Orange Cat Technologies LLC) — Effective date: August 22, 2025 — Thank you for using Restock Pulse. We care deeply about user privacy and designed our iOS app to collect only what’s needed to deliver timely restock alerts. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we share it, and your choices. Scope. This policy applies to Restock Pulse distributed via Apple’s App Store and to beta builds distributed via Apple’s TestFlight. What we collect (App Store builds). We collect a single data element: an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token, which is a globally unique identifier that functions like the “address” for your specific installation of our app on your device so we can deliver notifications to you; APNs uses this token to route a notification to the correct device/app instance. We treat this as an Identifier (Device ID) under Apple’s App Privacy taxonomy. We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, health information, financial information, purchasing history, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers through our app. (Apple describes APNs device tokens as the unique token used to identify the device/app when you register for remote notifications and when sending notification requests; Apple’s App Privacy taxonomy classifies “Identifiers” and explains when data is considered “linked to you,” which includes links to a device.) How we use the device token. Solely to send you push notifications about items you choose to follow for restocks (“app functionality”). We do not use the token for advertising or profiling. No tracking. We do not use data from our app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, nor do we combine it with third-party data for targeted advertising; Apple’s definition of “tracking” covers linking app data with data from other companies’ apps/sites or sharing with data brokers, which we do not do. (See Apple’s “User Privacy and Data Use” and App Store privacy guidance on tracking.) When we share data. We share your device token only with: (i) Apple’s APNs to deliver notifications, and (ii) our own secure servers that prepare the notification payload; we do not sell or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. TestFlight builds (beta testing). If you join our TestFlight, Apple collects and shares with us certain tester information and diagnostics to help us improve the app (for example: name and email for invited testers, device model and OS version, usage counts, crash logs, and feedback you submit). Apple may also use tester data to improve the TestFlight app and to detect/prevent fraud; Apple retains beta feedback for about one year and may retain crash/usage data until bugs are resolved. For TestFlight testers using a public link, your name/email aren’t shown to us. Manage your Apple data (including TestFlight) at privacy.apple.com and contact us for TestFlight data access or deletion related to our app. (Details come from Apple’s “TestFlight & Privacy” and related legal pages.) Legal bases (where applicable). For regions like the EEA/UK, we process the push token as necessary to perform the service you requested (delivering notifications you opted into); we rely on consent for enabling notifications (iOS prompt) and legitimate interests in securing and operating the service. Your choices. You control notifications at any time: on iOS go to Settings >Notifications > Restock Pulse to turn notifications off or adjust styles; you can also uninstall the app to stop collection and use of the token. Because APNs tokens can change (e.g., on reinstall or when settings change), we update or delete old tokens when delivery fails. (APNs behavior and token use are described in Apple’s developer documentation.) Retention. We retain your device token only while it is active and needed to deliver notifications for the items you follow; we remove tokens that become invalid or when you disable notifications or delete the app. TestFlight retention is governed by Apple as described above. (See Apple’s TestFlight retention statements.) Security. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the token and our systems (e.g., TLS in transit, access controls, and least-privilege server design). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve our safeguards. Children. Restock Pulse is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child provided us with a device token via our app, contact us and we will delete it. International transfers. If you access our services from outside the United States, be aware that your information (the device token) may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data-protection laws. Your rights. Depending on your location (for example, the EEA/UK, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to opt out of certain uses; to exercise these rights regarding data we control (e.g., your push token), contact us; for TestFlight data Apple controls, use privacy.apple.com as noted above. (Apple’s pages explain App Store privacy info and how data types and linking work; use those for reference when reviewing our App Privacy label.) Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time; we will post the new effective date and, if changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example, in-app). Contact us. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.1. Use of the AppThe App is designed to assist users with product availability tracking and notifications. You agree to use the App solely for its intended purpose. We do not guarantee product availability, pricing, notification timing, or successful purchase outcomes.2. SubscriptionsThe App offers auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features:
• Monthly Subscription: $3.99/month
• Annual Subscription: $29.99/yearSubscription payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store account settings or inside the Restock Pulse App (Settings).No cancellations or refunds are provided for the current subscription period once activated.3. Payments and RefundsAll payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Refunds and cancellations follow Apple’s App Store policies. We do not provide direct refunds.4. User ResponsibilitiesYou agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to:
• Unauthorized copying or distribution of App content.
• Using the App for unlawful activities.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App’s backend or systems.5. Intellectual PropertyThe App, including all its content, design, graphics, and software, is the exclusive property of Orange Cat Technologies LLC. All rights reserved.6. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.7. TerminationWe reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App without notice for any violation of these Terms.8. Changes to TermsWe reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Continued use after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.9.
